Stainless steel 316Ti ball valves are manufactured primarily from a chromium-nickel-molybdenum alloy with the addition of titanium for increased corrosion resistance and high temperature Typical products contain 16-18% chromium, 10-14% nickel , 2-3% molybdenum and up to 0.7% titanium. The mechanical properties include a yield strength of 30-40 ksi and a tensile strength of 70-80 ksi.
