Monel syphons and snubbers are primarily composed of nickel (65-70%) and copper (30-35%), with small amounts of iron, manganese, and silicon. Mechanically, Monel exhibits high strength, good ductility, and exceptional thermal stability, with tensile strength exceeding 100,000 psi.   -1/4”or 1/2” NPT, schedule 40, any seamless material is good for a working pressure of 500 psi at 680OF (360OC).
